Silica Gel Been looking for Silica Gel Desiccant for some time. I am happy that I finally found it in 100 gm sacks. Silica Gel is a very handy material and I use it for safe guarding all equipment and important material that can be destroyed by humidity.

These 100 gm silica packets are the perfect size to insert into shoes, purses, jewelry drawers, sequined evening bags and dresses, cedar closets with furs, into the pockets of the furs, books and vinyl records to prevent foxing on the paper, fine linens, and silver, stored photo’s, into my little dog (Molly) closet, we call it “Molly wear” with her collars, harnesses, and leashes. I could give you an arm’s length long list of items that these little packets should be used to protect. We use boxes of charcoal in closets to assist with generalized dampness, but these little packets are perfect for a million different individualized stored items that you must protect from dampness. In the sultry South, things mildew quite readily, and they must be protected from the humidity. Our home is older, and it is not equipped with a dehumidifier, so we really have to be vigilant with our nice things. I purchased a bag of 50, and quickly realized that I needed ten more bags, at least. The more I placed, the more I realized I needed to keep my lovely things safely stored without them developing mildew and/or foxing. WidegtCo is the most awesome business! Phoenix Buckels & Blades Perfect. The moisture absortion indicator in the shipping bag with the product is a nice touch. I was wondering about that aspect until I saw the moisture indicator was in the blue. The 100g bags are perfect for use with storing knives, guns and ammo.
