Great corks!

I tried using the wine cork to make trivets, with great success. I now have the trivets displaced in a craft shop and hope for sales soon. In late fall I will use these corks to make wine cork Christmas trees.

I just started a new hobby which I often do during my retirement. I shopped around for the best overall deal for used wine corks and came across Widget Co. I purchased used corks. For my use, the corks are cut in half. A small hole is then drilled through the cork halves. The corks are then pushed on sharp pointed cooking utensils I sell. For my needs, the used corks provide more character. I am very pleased with the corks.

This is the best price I’ve found for real corks in bulk. There are only less than 10 broken and/or rubber corks per 1000 (Have ordered 2000 corks twice).

Corks were nice. Counted them and was short 25 corks. Contacted company and they sent out the missing corks right away. Would order again from them but will make sure to count.

I'm creating a cork wall art installation in my kitchen and I ran out of red stained corks. I contacted Widetco to find out the proportion of red to white corks in their grade A used corks. It was a weekend when I sent my questions and I didn't expect to hear anything until the following week, if ever. But, not only did they respond, they continued to answer additional questions even on a Sunday! In any event, I was able to order the corks I wanted and the quality was absolutely wonderful and exactly as described. I'm not quite done with my project because it is quite labor intensive but I have the quality corks I need. I wish I could always have experiences like this with companies. Thank you!

Some still have that lovely purple-ish color on the ends from the red wines and I think it gives them great character.
