The cork products are so fantastic that I have been using them for table hotplates, hum killers to place electric heaters and portable air conditioners on them, and of course give some away to family for Christmas gifts! Used to replace a set that was several years old and used constantly. These should last even longer (they are thicker). Only downside-could use different sizes for different sized bowls/pans.
