9 inch cork squares.
Planned to cover the wall behind my wife’s built in desk. The squares are not uniform with many rough edges. As a result there are too many gaps between the tiles to be acceptable. To install and ensure each piece is square with smooth sides I will have to cut each tile with a razor blade down to 8x8 and unfortunately order more to make up for the wasted material.

Nice quality cork
I purchased these to make a cork board over my desk in my craft room. I didn’t want them so thin that the push pins would go through the back. The cork surface is very smooth. The reason I gave it a slight down grade was because of a slight odor. I let it air out several days and it was barely noticeable after that.

Quality Cork
I was pleased to find these quality 1/2 inch thick 9" x 9" cork squares. I searched for several days and the sources I found either only stocked 1/4" squares or charged nearly twice what Widgetco.com does. My order was processed quickly and arrived sooner than expected. I don't buy cork squares often but when I do Widgetco.com will get my repeat business.

Perfect size to protect tables
I ordered these to use at our church dinners. Our serving tables have lovely cloth tablecloths which are covered with clear plastic protectors. We have been using an assortment of potholders to keep hot pans from damaging the plastic. These are the perfect size. Two will completely support a 13x9 Bakke no pan and are thick enough to totally keep the tables cool. We haven’t used these yet but I know they will do the job!

The size and thickness I needed
Tiles I had purchased previously were too thin to hold the pins, much less the papers I wanted to pin up. These 1/2-inch thick tiles do the job perfectly.

Work Great for Bulletin Board
I wanted an extra thick bulletin board for the inset of my kitchen door. The half-inch thick allows me to use push pins with no worries. I used double stick tape to adhere to the painted door and so far they are holding just fine. I used a box cutter to cut to custom size.
