Unconventional Use - But Works Great I purchased 10 each of the black 3/16" and 1/4" hole plugs (because I wasn't sure which would be most suitable for my intended use). I have a handgun which is factory-equipped with an internal lock (which I never actually use), but which is ugly and fills with grime, fouling, and old dried oil. When I stumbled on these I thought that I could make a plug for this lock which would serve to improve the looks and keep the the lock mechanism clean. It turns out that 1/4" ones worked fine once I slightly reduced the diameter of the "shank" of the plug as well as shortened it, but it was easy and works exactly as I intended, and it looks great!

Reasonable product - excellent shipping time As noted below, very loose in a .250 inch hole. Great shipping time and pleased that there is no minimum purchase.

Nice plugs Excellent hole plugs. Loose fit for a 0.250" hole, though. Must have hole size in the 0.235 to 0.245 range for a tight fit.

Reveiw Unfortunately, I found the hole plugs were not suitable for my application. but when I informed WIDGETCO, they apologized, explained the probable cause and immediately refunded my money. I would buy from them again, if the application is more suitable to their product.

Satisfied customer These look great! There was an initial delay in receiving the order, although I received a shipping label online with the USPS tracking number right away. However, customer service at WIDGETCO was quick to investigate. In fairness, the delay could have been related to changes underway at that time with the local postal location. WIDGETCO rushed out a new order, which I received promptly. Customer service makes or breaks an online company and WIDGETCO passed the test!

Poor fit The part would have been perfect if it would have fit tightly in a 1/4" hole. The plug measured .244 and the hole is .246. This plug is not meant for a .25" hole.

Great screw covers Perfect cap to finish the look on a table that did not include any covers. I needed a size up from the 14" I ordered and they were sent free of charge and were received the same week. Will order from WIDGETCO again.

Just what we needed We received these plugs in a timely manner and they were the perfect size for our project.

Very satisfied I have purchased plugs twice and am very satisfied with WIDGETCO. Both orders were delivered sooner than I expected, and a shipping error was corrected very quickly.

Problem fitting I too had problems with them fitting, had to "glue" them into 1/4" holes with black gasket compound. Worked OK, but was a hassle. The company says they are designed to fit wood, but a 1/4" hole is a 1/4" hole wherever you drill it, and I think drilling into wood makes it a little bigger. The company says they will continue to "work to improve this" but so far they haven't. If you need plugs that fit easily, recommend you keep looking out there, these ain't them.

Plugs These were perfect for what we needed and they came really fast.

Problem fitting I bought these to fit a 1/4 hole that was machined in an aluminum part. They fell out. After measuring the plugs they are smaller than .250". They measure .244". I had to glue each one in (250 total) by hand. They did offer my money back.

Nice Quality I bought these for a power supply that had an extra hole that I wasn't going to use. It fit nicely and with a little bit of epoxy inside the power supply it's a permanent fit. Looks pro too!

Perfect fit I was astonished to find a hole in the frame of my new high end bicycle. I was told that a cable was normally routed through it, but since I had a different system, it wasn't used. The shop had nothing to fill it with so I checked my local hardware store and didn't find anything that worked for me. The plug(s) I ordered from WidgeCo fit perfectly and matched my paint job well.
