1/4" Screw Thread Covers - Black It was an unusual search in trying to find something protective to cover the base metal legs of a couple of candle holders to prevent scratching up any surfaces that the holders would sit upon. After checking Lowes, Menards, Home Depot or Ace Hardware, the size and color options were found to be everything but 1/4" Screw Thread Covers in black. Checking the internet found exactly what I wanted, and it could be purchased by the individual piece. For this, I am very thankful. The order arrived in just a couple of days from placing the order, which also surprised me. It was Five Star Service and then some from start to finish. Job well done!

I purchased the 1/4" rubber screw thread covers to cap off the ends of fiberglass, driveway markers that will be used to use to glue braces on guitar tops and backs on my go bar system. Screw Thread Covers I bought hers for the store I work at. We have metal pegs that we put scarves on but the kept getting snagged. The covers fit perfectly and will save a lot of scarves! Oh, and they came really quickly!

1/4" black thread covers In order to get a head start on Hurricane shutter installation at our church, we decided to permanently install as many of the lower "L" rails as we could. The L rails had protruding 1/4" studs every 12", that held the bottom of the steel shutters with wing nuts. We used the thread covers to both protect the threads from damage and to keep the sharp stud ends from hurting people. They worked very well!

Lacks Uniformity These perform and function satisfactorily. However, the uniformity in length is poor. The diameter seems fine but the length varies more than I find acceptable.

Used these for the ends of aluminum rod for under shelf hangers, and are great fit and desired look. These are a great price with very reasonable shipping cost.

A good idea as a couple of the caps were not uniformly molded. Keep in mind, these are molded pieces of plastic; not rocket engine parts. Order a few more than you really need and you'll be satisfied with your purchase.

Shipping Took A Week I ordered these caps on a Thursday and paid to have them delivered in 2 -3 days, They was shipped the same day I ordered but when I checked the following Monday they was still showing in Houston TX. I didn't respond thinking they may show up Tuesday but when I checked Tuesday they was still in TX so I contacted the seller. The seller was quick to react on a refund or to ship me parts over night. I think the problem here is the post office in TX. I would recommend the seller following up on orders to make sure there parts get shipped and not overlooked. I'm going to give them a good grade since they did there part and the blame was on the post office.
