I purchased cork to line drawers and shelves in the kitchen and this is perfect. I had to ensure that I had a square corner and then found it easy to cut with a box cutter. I weighted the pieces to make them lie flat and now I have the perfect shelf liners. I love this product!

We used the 1/8 inch roll of cork to line all of our new kitchen cabinets and drawers. Not only does the cork protect the wood, it also adds a natural, elevated finishing touch. We love it.
Initially, we had difficulty getting the cut pieces of cork to lay flat in the cabinets. We ironed them using a regular steam iron on the wool setting. It was a quick, easy, and permanent solution.

Cork is probably the best material aesthetically and functionally for a shelf liner. However—and it’s likely true of any cork—it tends to be brittle and retains the curl from being rolled making it vulnerable to cracking with handling and uneven when lain flat. So, handle with care, use a new Xacto blade in your knife and carefully reverse the roll pattern to help flatten it. I used an artist’s mat cutter, drywall T-square and X-acto knife to effect accurate, repeatable cuts.

I was looking for something to line shelves in a closet and I loved the idea of using cork. It was easy to use and stayed in place with a little wood glue. I did use books and heavy objects to help keep it flat while it dried. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the CHEMICAL SMELL! It was so bad, that I had to open windows! It has been a couple weeks now, and the smell is somewhat dissipating.

As part of a recent kitchen remodel, I wanted new product to replace all the drawer and cupboard liners. A google search took me to an expensive kitchen store that sales cork sheets for drawer liners. I really like all the benefits of cork but couldn't support that price, hence widget.com! I purchased two rolls which was enough to cover all drawers and shelfs including the hallway. It was fairly easy. Take good measurements, grab a plastic cutting board sheet, a T-ruler and an exacto knife. I went to town on the kitchen floor making all cuts. All pieces fit seamlessly. Think outside the marked-up stores! I'm very happy with my decision.

I'm a homeschool mom and wanted cork for custom sized bulletin boards for my kids. I searched around and due to affordability I went with this product. I was able to make 4 'art boards,' as we call them, by doing three layers to be able to take the depth of a thumb tack. The kids LOVE them! As a bonus I have enough left over to line my kitchen shelves. As for shipping, we're currently in the middle of the pandemic, so you can imagine how stunned I was when it arrived only 2 days after I ordered it. Amazing!

Have purchased from Widgetco years ago and was very please with product and deliver back in the day, my latest order consisting of a 30 ft. cork roll was delivered damaged with 25% of it unusable. I sent an email to WidgetCo a few weeks back asking if they could double box my next order and if there were any coupons I could use to make up for the loss but never heard from customer support. I lined about 45 feet of pantry shelves with 1/8" cork and was very pleased with the result. The cork cut easily (scissors are better than a blade) and did not crack or chip despite my having to manipulate each piece several times (had to cut out 2 slots on the back of each to allow for a flush fit against the wall). It looks great and provides a cushioned surface for all my stuff.

Perfect for lining shelves
Tried the 1/4" but it was too thick for shelves, so I used the roll for the drawers. Bought the 1/18" for the shelves and it works great. Product delivered in great time and was much less expensive than buying rolls from William Sonoma.
