End Grain Red Oak 1" Mushroom Button Plugs
I have used these plugs for Several years. I drill a 1" X 3/16" deep hole in the Bottom of my 19th Century Reproduction Blanket Chest corner leg/foot to act as a floor contact point. I coat the hole an the button base with Titebond II and tap into place with a hard plastic mallet. On a very rare occasion the lip will break and I am considering using Maple in the future. Their shape and quality is consistent and very high.

I have been looking for this plug for years. This was used to plug a hole in our coffee table that has been missing for years.
