1" walnut button top wood plugs
I made my own 2x6 red cedar shutters. These worked great for covering the mounting screw holes. I used a dark mahogony oil based stain. I was worried they wouldn't take the stain like the cedar did but they did. It looks the same. These gave my shutters a better look also. They came fast and were priced reasonably.
