Ideal solution to covering drill holes in furniture!
I recently had to drill holes to mount casters on a shelving unit, to make it mobile. The bottom shelf was drilled through in ten places, leaving holes exposed. My oops... having a Mechanical background, I searched online and found WidgetCo, and gave them a look. I'm glad I did! I ordered ten pieces 3/16" 5mm Light Beige Hole Plugs, very affordable, got them in short order, too! I'm certainly glad to have found WidgetCo, and these hole plugs! They match my shelf almost to a tee, and actually look like they belong on a piece of self assembled furniture!

Perfect solution to fill shower enclosure holes
We had 6 holes leftover in our acrylic shower enclosure from the removal of an old shower door. The light beige plugs we ordered are just slightly darker than the walls, but fit the 3/16” holes perfectly. I shot a little silicone in the hole first to ensure a water tight seal. Even though delivery was promised in 3-4 business days, the parts arrived in 2 day via USPS! This product is also offered on Amazon, quantity 25 with no shipping charge. However, I didn’t need 25! So I was glad to see that WidgetCo would ship whatever quantity I wanted and saved about $3 over the Amazon price.

Bought these to plug some old hole in vinyl windows left by alarm sensors. Had to enlarge hole to get the correct fit but it all looks great and hides the unsightly screw holes. I will gladly buy this product again.

I'm afraid they didn't work. The size I gave you was apparently incorrect. I would say you should be more specific that the 3/8" refers to the cap and not the shaft of the widget. That being said they were shipped quickly and are priced reasonably

Hole Plug 3/16 for old screw hole in cabinet
I changed from a one hole handle to a two hole handle in a new position. This was the answer. I have maple cabinets with cinnamon finish so I opted for Almond. I hand painted the tip of the plug. Plug fits securely into screw hole.

These plugs are an "act of forgiveness", especially for mistakes in metal where aesthetics are an issue. The different colors match standard industrial tint. If applied to size 8, the hole will need to be enlarged or the plug diameter reduced with an exacto knife or whatever. The plastic is soft enough for up to 1mm diameter reduction. It's a very fine widget!
