Really great product ! Was not able to find a brand that was fitting the size we needed (hole size) for some reason other brands from HD were too big even if the diameter was 5mm.

The pins turned out to be too large for the application I needed them for (kitchen cabinet shelf), but I was able to use my drill to enlarge the appropriate holes and they now did the job.

Disappointed
Unfortunately, these shelf pins are too big.The metal pin that I need to replace the ones that broke are much thinner like about 80% less of the ones that I received. If you have any metal pins that are this thin, please let me know.

Sturdy pins
These are just thte right size and work beautifully. I bought them to replace some similar all-plastic ones that sheared off when I rearranged my built-in bookcase. The metal pin makes these so much sturdier.

Perfect for old ikea bookcases
About 3 years ago, I bought a billy bookcase from Ikea. 3 years later, I go to buy some new shelves. Turns out they changed it, and the pegs didn't fit in the old style anymore. Found these randomly, and am so glad I did! They fit perfectly, and are strong enough to support the shelves. I'm really thankful I found these right when I was getting super frustrated at the situation.

Again no frills on these, it is a shelf pin with not too much excitement. The plastic is rather clear allowing you to see more of the cabinet, but this also shows the metal pin, They are pretty sleek in finish. These are nearly similar to the high end cabinet lines supplied products.
