These are just what we wanted for some glass spice jars. They fit inside a spice rack we have made by a friend 30 yrs ago. My husband calls these the Goldilocks stoppers. It took 3 orders to get “just right”. The measuring issues were our fault, but we finally got it right. I will say this company has excellent service: easy website, communication, packing and almost immediate shipping after placing order. I only wish they would greatly expand their product selection so I could do frequent business here.

I needed two #6 silicone rubber stoppers for salad-dressing decanters and three #2 stoppers for some decorative drink bottles. I bought 10 of these not sure how they would seal a gallon jug for fermenting Mead - But the price was Great I purchased 10 of #6 Silicone Stoppers w/o holes just so I could make my own hose sized hole for my custom airlocks. Fast and reiiable
Products were delivered speedily and as stated in advertisement. One word of caution. Double check your measurements. I ordered a stopper for a replacement of a dried out cork on my decanter. I used an electronic vernier caliper for my measurement. When the stoppers arrived they were slightly too small for my decanter. I thought the stoppers were out of spec but I measured with a regular metric ruler and they were as specified.

Excellent stoppers
I needed stoppers with holes. That's easy to do with a piece of brass tubing. Sharpen one end by putting it into a drill press and pressing a file against the end at a sharp angle - this 'sharpens' the end. Then, use that to drill the hole in the stopper. Nice clean hole. Widgetco is a great company to deal with. Easy ordering, fast delivery, fair prices and no minimums. Big plus -- they don't gouge you on shipping charges.

I got these #6's to use with my 3-gallon carboys. The #7's are just too big and barely fit. These #6's also just barely fit, but they at least go down into the bottle better. What would be perfect for 3-gallon carboys are #6.5's, but they are not made with this material.

I specifically bought these for being silicone. It doesn't absorb liquid or smells, thus giving off neither as well. Also it will not rot or fall apart. BTW, it plugs a hole. Hope this helps.
