The corks were actually better quality than expected, and the price was very reasonable. They worked flawlessly in our floor corker. The only issue I have with them, and it's very minor, is I wish these corks were available without the printing.

First Quality Natural Wine Corks I always use the first quality corks from WidgetCo. I buy them 100 at a time and get free shipping which helps of set the cost that is reasonable anyway.

Use these. Don't be swayed by the comments of Renae G. (below) ... she was doing something wrong. Our first batch of 1000 were flawless. They work great in a mechanical (Italian) corker if you first pause in the compression phase and then seat the cork. We let the bottles set upright overnight before shelving them. We have had no leakage. Some of the corks might break when opening the bottle if you are being hasty or if you are using a substandard tool. These corks will work for you.

First Quality Wine Corks Needed them right away. Paid for shipping in 3days. Bottled 70,corks and compressed well, went in easily. Noted comment from WidgetCo on 19mm opening of wine bottles. Had friend machine plastic plug at 19mm. If it goes into a wine bottle w/ room to spare, I wouldn't use that bottle.

Disapointed I was expecting a better cork...especially for the price and from the other reviews. We use a semi-automatic corker and bottled about 65 cases of one of our popular dry reds. Several of the corks leaked wine on the bottom of the box and some were so bad that we had to pull the cork out and re-cork. This was on one of our more expensive dry reds so it was very disappointing. The corks seemed brittle and broke very easily...you could actually break them with your hands. Not sure I just got a bad bag or what but with our production of about 1200 cases a year I cant afford to have this kind of problem, especially with our higher end wines. I will continue to search for a good cork supplier for our wines.

Natural First Quality Corks After trying other corks, I have settled on these First Quality corks as my preferred cork. We bottle about 500 bottles every season. I use a floor corker and have been very happy on well they perform. I have tried some other ones and they were mushy and did not want to insert properly and would break apart when uncorking. I typically let my wines age at least 3 to 4 years and some are around even after 7 years. These have performed very well and have not had any wine go bad due to cork taint. The only suggestion would be to package them in 100, instead of 1000 in one huge bag.

Wine maker I have purchased these corks in the past and I think are superior quality and treated ready to use, to better preserve your wine I will highly recommend to buy these corks. Really outstanding!

First quality corks Best product I ever came across!

First Quality Corks I did not choose these corks to be placed in wine bottles as they are intended to be used for. I purchased these corks simply to make decorative ornaments for myself and family members. Out of the 25 purchased, I was able to find only 6 that were worth using because of the big holes, gouges, splits and missing pieces across the stamped print and elsewhere.

Great wine corks These were extremely high quality corks. I was a little leery at first due to the large circumference of the corks, but they went into the bottles without any issues. The seal should be even better due to their size. I am very happy with this purchase.

First Quality Natural Wine Corks I'm new to wine making, but one thing I know is a good quality cork is important to preserve a quality wine. These seem to fit the bill, I tested one in an empty bottle with a corker I had purchased separately. They compressed well and slid into the bottleneck sealing it perfectly. Only time will tell how good that seal is, but the corks were smooth, clean, decorative and I have no worries about them spoiling the wine.
