Perfect Fit
We have a screen porch that gets very dusty. I would like to spray it down but it is difficult because of the screens. We have drilled a hole in the wood between 2 screens in order to run an outdoor hose in there for ease of cleaning. The #20 Extra Select cork is the ideal way to plug the hole when not in use (in order to keep bugs out). Perfect!

Getting away from plastics
I have purchased old & antique glass milk bottles for drinking water. Some dairies are even going back to glass and for the price of deposit it's ideal for a heavy glass reusable container. The natural Extra Select corks I purchased are of excellent quality. The price is very good and agreeable plus the S&H is reasonable too. I believe people need to be good stewards of their planet but I'm hardly hyper-paranoiac like some. Plastics are generally problematic when associated with consumables and food products. These corks are a great replacement idea to get plastics not only out your life but hopefully out of the food and drink market someday too.

Alternative cap for my glass water bottle
I wanted to get away from the plastic top of my newly bought glass water bottle and natural cork was the best alternative. it took me a few tries to get the right size cork, I estimated on buying a cork that would fit snug about half way into the bottle, but now i know to get the very largest size possible, otherwise they can leak, by the way I'm using the "Ello" glass water bottle, I've seen around 4 different high priced bottles but found the Ello For only 10 bucks at target, I'm happy to remove one item of plastic in my life. Plastic ocean pollution is horrendous, we must be conscious consumers to take responsibility for the health of our planet as well as our own health.
