My Cork stopper arrived quickly. I ordered slightly too small so I flipped the stopper over and it will be perfect. It is a large jar I plan to build a terrarium in. I've tried a few times to take a photo and not sure they worked, I might try once more.

WidgetCo is an amazing place, thanks to its people. I ordered a size 52 cork. It was too small and the layers were split slightly. Apparently it had dried out in stock, and shrunk. Without my asking, WidgetCo sent me a replacement, size 54, assuming it would be the same, slightly small to specs. It is not. So, it is too big. I am sanding it slowly, and it will be fine. That's the problem with online ordering. But, WidgetCo handled it as perfectly as anyone could ask.

I have a wine carafe, gallon size. Purchased a 52, 54, and 56 size cork. Didn't know which size would fit the best, so I purchased the (3) sizes.

To Seal A Terrarium
This fits perfectly to seal in moisture for my large, wide-mouth jar that I use as a terrarium. I wish there was an even bigger size for my super tall vase that I am also converting to a terrarium. The cork seems well made and I do think it will hold up to the humidity.

It works. It's the stated size. However, it's made up of at least four different pieces of cork glued together. It doesn't feel like they're going to last but hopefully my little project will stabilize and I won't have to remove the cork very often.

I have a very large jar purchased, without a lid or cover, many years ago at a yard sale. We just toss our pocket change into it. For many years I have been sorting the dog hair from the change every time I tried to empty the jar, until I came across an idea for using a cork stopper to replace the lid. These cork stoppers are great. One (size 52) was the exact size for one of my jars while the other (size 56) was a tad bit too large. I called WidgetCo and it was suggested that I ...”sand it down...” which I did. Who would have thought?! Added a wooden scoop and now I have a great looking container for my bath salts! Cork came in 3 layers of cork put together, not as 1 piece as pictured. No clue what holds the layers together... Probably some sort of glue from all the other corners cut. Large chunks of cork are missing along the edges on several of the layers making for a very poor/no seal.

My cork was just fine. However I ordered 1/4" to small and it would have been nice if I got a cork that was longer making it easier to remove it from the jar. However it was a pleasure being able to find this cork online. I'm very pleased to have a new and functional jar (plus cork) to use in my antique jug. Very nice

#54 Cork Stopper
I received this #54 stopper to test for use as a Garlic Jar stopper, a replacement for the original one. This one, though nicely made, was too large for my purposes. I ended up using a #52 which fit just right! I'm saving the #54 stopper for another upcoming project. The customer service I received was excellent and delivery was quickly made.

I wanted a few large corks to use in my hobby of gourdcraft. Small orders are filled online and an account is required. Since my order might be a one-time shot if the corks did not work as I hoped I was reluctant to open an account. After a few email exchanges, Customer Service gave me a toll-free number to call to place my small order without an account. Marco was very helpful and patient. The product is fine. A cork is a cork is a cork. I would like to try some natural top corks and would pay the $4+ for them, but I won't pay $20 shipping for 4 corks. I give Marco 4 stars for his handling of my guest order. I'll upgrade it to 5 stars if you change your order procedure so a person can make a guest order without opening an account.

So very happy with it
This may seem unusual but I'm a prop maker and I've been constructing a Harley Quinn Pop Gun, which is generally seen with a giant cork in the end and I was having the worst time finding one big enough to do the job right but then I stumbled across this site simply by typing in "cookie jar corks" and I was more than pleased with the price of the corks and that they came in these handsomely large sizes! It work perfectly, the prop is finished and phenomenal. Without this cork I would be nowhere with the gun! And it arrived very quickly which made me triple happy! I have alot of ideas for props and trinkets that involve corks and now I know exactly where I'll be coming to buy them from now on! I can't wait to try out the other items available on the site, most of the products you offer here can be used in a variety of costumes and props! :
