It's just what I needed to make a custom stopper washer for an antique bottle. I just cut it to size, about a quarter inch thick and then used a sanding drum and sandpaper to make it fit the stopper and inside the bottle.

Great Product and Delivery
I had carved wooden figures for bottle stoppers and I was looking for pre-drilled corks to attach them. I did a search and found WIDGETCO. I was delighted to find the corks and to get free shipping! The items arrived exactly on time. They worked great. My only wish is that they would offer different sizes pre-drilled, though the #7 seems to be standard for bottles. I used two for them for oil and vinegar pitchers.

#7 cork stoppers
First order didn't ship timely, despite paying additional postage. I called and customer service rep immediately shipped duplicate order out same day no charge. Second order arrive timely and they worked great for wine bottle stopper Christmas projects. Thanks! Finally the original order arrived and since the product works so well I decided to buy the second order rather than return it. Great job of quickly making things right. (I'd have given 5 star if the first order had arrived without incident.)

This is my second bulk order from WidgetCo this year. Annually, I go through about 1,000 of these corks. I've only had a few that were lemons, nothing that I wouldn't expect. Great for Bottle Stoppers
Just got the corks, super fast service. These corks are the best quality that I have seen. What I like is the fact that the hole doesn't go all the way through the cork, thus I dont have to contend with the dowel showing. These make great bottle stoppers.

Received my shipment promptly, did not time it but it took less than a week. Have yet to open this box but the last shipment of corks we bought worked out well for us. I wish that the corks had a straight walled hole instead of the ribbed hole they do as a store bought 3/8 dowel rod has some play in the hole, not a huge issue though. Overall, very good product and deal.

Be Aware!
Just a precautionary tale that cork stoppers, these are the only ones I've bought for making my own wine stoppers, are not guaranteed to fit every wine bottle. Take this in to account if you are purchasing for resale purposes. Otherwise these are lovely.
