These #8 Extra Select corks work great for the large end of the Portable Water Structuring Unit. The #1 works great for the small end, especially when you want to keep the water in the unit to shake it and structure it more. These are top quality corks and if I need more I sure know where I will be buying them!

More for the money...
Ordered 100 "extra select" cork stoppers even though they were twice the price of the xxxx grade cork stoppers I had been buying. Trouble with the xxxx grade was that about 20% of them were too crappy to use, at least for my purposes, so I thought I'd try the next step up in quality. When they arrived, they all looked good and there seemed to be about 100 in the bag, but I decided to count them to make sure I had gotten what I'd paid for. Happy to discover that although I'd paid for 100, the bag contained 129, and all of them keepers, just as I'd expected. I don't know if getting more corks then you paid for is sop or not, but I will definitely be ordering them again.

Excellent cork; however, the top of cork is a little too large to fit ornamental wood or metal pieces from old wine stoppers. And, it is very difficult to neatly cut down the size to fit so it can be glued on. This said, I will be ordering more in the future due to the quality of the cork.
