This item didn’t fix in my walk in freezer

A snug fit in a 0.500" hole in 0.125" thick aluminum. They haven't fallen out and show no signs of creeping out. They were able to pressed in by hand, with effort. Hence, nothing was destroyed or modified to make these fit. Good color and low profile so they aren't an eyesore or noticeable.

Great plugs! However, we were not able to use them. We had ordered size 1/2” diameter, and we received 3/8” diameter. Your measurement method most likely pertains to the outside diameter of the cap’s end circular edge, which overlaps the cylindrical body of the plug. Our measurement of 1/2” pertains to the size of the pipe that we intended to plug-up (a standard 1/2” pipe). We figured: One half-inch pipe requires a one half-inch plug. ~ It just didn’t work out that way this time around. In order for us to get the correct size part we would have probably needed to order a size 5/8” (your measurement) for it to fit a 1/2” pipe. We did not order again because we did not want to gamble with another order that may arrive erroneous again. We ended up purchasing conventional, specialized metal parts for the application. We ordered size 1/2” and that’s what we received. We immediately installed them and case closed. Your 3/8” plugs went into the scrap bin for potential future projects where they might be of use.

Using These 1/2 Plugs To "Fill" Holes Drilled Into Concrete To Inject Termiticide. I've used plugs with multiple flanges, where the cover was the same diameter as the flanges. On these plugs, the cover is slightly larger than the flanges. I used a slightly rounded 1/2" tool tip to drive these plugs flush (or a bit below) the surround. Works OK except sometimes, as bit of the cover is proud of the surface.; Not a big problem

Pleased The plugs did exactly what I needed them for, my only suggestion when installing, they can ripple on the top button area when you get to the end of installing because of the seams they had on the stem. My hole was 1/2 " and they fit very snug, I had to hammer them in, I would think they will be hard to take out, the grey color was a light metallic. I thought if I had to take them out I would make a drill hole through the center of button.
