The items I ordered are very well made and are exactly as described. However, I apparently didn’t order the correct size because one of the sets doesn’t fit the pre existing holes. The hole seems to be between the two sizes I ordered.

Cherry 1/2 Inch Buttons Just what I wanted, shipped very quickly.

Worked Perfectly! I had to remove the original hole plugs in our new front porch bench and, luckily, found WidgetCo online for some replacements. The size was almost perfect for the hole size and, after my wife painted them with a paint pen to match the bench, I cut small strips of painter’s tape and wrapped it around the base of each plug. They were then a perfect fit for the holes and I just used a rubber mallet to secure them tightly. Great product!

Perfect wood button covers I couldn't find these cherry wood buttons anywhere else (not at the local home improvement store, nor at many other online stores), but WIDGETCO had them and multiple other types of wood buttons at a great price. They were the perfect size and the exact finish of wood I needed (I just added some lacquer to gloss them up), and they looked identical to the original wood covers in our banister. Very satisfied, highly recommended.

Great experience! First, I love that there is actually a company named WIDGETCO. While wooden button plugs aren't the sexiest items to buy, when you need 'em, you need 'em. I've placed a couple of orders with these folks, and I'm very well satisfied. Last order, I measured repeatedly and STILL managed to get the wrong size buttons. Customer service handled my return/exchange query within a couple of hours, immediately refunding the money I paid for the wrong items and NOT requesting that I return them. This is just amazing customer service. I guess, when you're selling a product that doesn't have much "sex appeal," your customer service becomes your strongest selling point. These folks have customer service down to an art (or science). LOVELY people to do business with. They'll have me as a customer for life.

amazing customer service The USPS appeared to have lost the original shipment (tracking stopped being updated for a week, lost somewhere in MO...) and so I called late last Friday afternoon. Without hesitation, the agent (I'm sorry I forgot his name) offered to re-ship the item at no charge, and more amazingly, it went out about an hour later and was delivered the following Monday. (Of course, both shipments arrived today :-) I'm sending one back.) And the product was exactly what I expected.
