I only needed 4 buttons for a chair recovering project. The buttons arrived in a timely manner for a super fair price. Unfortunatly the hole diameter was slightly larger than the buttons, possibly due to metric drill size by the furniture mfg, but not so far off I won't be able to use a dab of silicone caulk to hold them securely in place and no one will know the difference. Thanks Widget Co. for selling a fine product in small quantities.

Pros: able to buy just a few, good price, fast shipping Cons: they’re a bit crudely made and there is more variety in shape and color from one to another than I expected. Also, I got 1/2” plugs in two different wood varieties and the two were different shapes. [Reply from WIDGETCO: Sorry to hear this, sounds like we had some parts mixed together and will inspect and reship this order.]

When I started searching for wooden plugs to match a few missing ones from our 1970's era stairwell I didn't have much hope of finding anything. Lo and behold the WIDGETCO site was a God send. Just What I Needed!
This product fixed the missing plugs on some antique chairs I have. I tightened the screws, glued the plugs in, and stained them with a Red Mahogany stain pen made by Minwax. They look original. Took all of 5 minutes. So glad I was able to find these!

Just what I needed
I couldn't find these mahogany wood buttons anywhere else (not at the local home improvement store), and WIDGETCO had them at a great price. They were the perfect size and the exact finish of wood I needed (I just added some lacquer to gloss them up), and they looked identical to the original wood covers in our banister. Very satisfied. The buttons replaced several on our railing that had been lost during a recent renovation. Colors matched closely and sizing was accurate, although a couple of holes were slightly enlarged. Fit was easily remedied with a dab of carpenters glue.

Somehow i made a mistake or misunderstood what I was ordering. I thought the base/barrel was was taller/longer than what I received. I cannot use the order I received, it isn't worth sending them back. Very disappointing..I don't where the fault lies, would be unkind to rate your service.
