Perfect for embroidery thread storage!!
I used wood glue to attach 1/4" dowels into 1/4" peg board, that had been cut to fit inside my cabinet drawers. Perfection! Exactly the solution I was looking for.

Bought these to make a machine embroidery thread spool holder, they fit the 1/4 inch pegboard perfectly, snug enough not to move but not so much to have to use mallet to set. I just dipped the 1/4 inch of the 2 1/4, inch dowel in my wood glue put it in the holes at different spacing for different size spools, and they work perfectly, no cutting, sanding etc, just glue dry and done.

This product is hard to find, especially in stores and many online retailers do not have great descriptions to ensure you are receiving the proper size. This product was exactly what I needed, and as described. I also transpossed a number on my mailing address. The company emailed me to confirm and when I responded it was a real person (not a typcial do not reply email address you get from other companies), who responded the next business day indicating in a friendly and professional maner that my address would be updated accordingly. I purchased a shelf at a put-it-together yourself store, however, I misplaced the wooden dowel pins that came with it. I went all over town looking for new ones, but no one carried that size.
