They were not a snug fit like the description stated, some of them are a little shorter than the others but they do the job.

I rebuilt my MIL'S porch glider after it sat outside in the weather for about 10 years. I needed new bolt thread covers and these worked perfectly. The whit color compliments the new blue powder coat on rhe frame and the light oak stain on the wooden slats.

The thread protectors arrived promptly and on schedule, they fit the threads snug, and with a drop of glue as insurance, these should do the job for years to come.

Perfect Fir, Just What Was Needed After attempting to install a new dog door to replace an existing one, the hardware ('meet in the middle' screws) the new door came with would not work. I had to buy 2 1/2" stainless bolts, which worked great, but protruded about 1/4" on the inside. These thread protectors were the perfect solution to covering the sharp ends of the bolts. I also appreciated that I could buy a small quantity. Thank you!

Zero quality control at this place Ordered 300 screw protectors.. not a big order but at least expected it to be OK, and what I ordered. Product came in with 4 different sizes! ....makes me think they did not have enough of what i ordered and just "dug into bins" to give me the correct number of pieces no matter how wrong. I took photos and sent an email and was just ignored. Except for the spam emails (like this one) wanting me to sing their praises.... next time I'll go to Hillman Never Ignore your customers when they try to reach out. So Easy To Deal With On Stuff Not Easily Found Whether for protecting threads or as buffer for shelving and in my case, to use as a non-mar device for a colander, the company is easy to deal with. My question on the non-mar was quickly answered with a recommendation that resulted in purchase. Considering their large inventory of "findings" that are not easily found locally, will use them again.

Quality Item at a Good Price My review basically echoes Glenn S's. Home Depot #10 screw protectors are black and I wanted white to match the thread protectors I have on .25 inch screws. Deliver was fast. Shipping costs were not exorbitant. Happy customer!
