These were exactly like the stoppers I was replacing but white (color was not important) and made of silicon (old stoppers were black and made of rubber). Works as well or better than old stoppers and I expect silicon will be better than the old rubber.

Great stoppers. We use these on bee smokers to snuff out fuel after use. High temp silicone works well to provide a good seal while maintaining shape.

Used the stopper as a small door stop. Cut off about 1 cm of the stopper just for aesthetics, then drilled a small hole through it and inserted a screw. Drilled pilot hole in the baseboard and attached the stopper. Works perfectly and looks great.

I;m using the stoppers as mould blocks to make feed throughs from amospheric pressure to high vacuum. The images show nthe copper wires of the prototype. The vacuum side is at the bottom of the device, while the upper part connects to various data acquisition and power control elements. After I've tested the integrity of the prototype I'll create a cleaner version and mount a piranni vacuum gauge on it.

Wondering if these would fit a Bottle or the Quality?
I already had a similar rubber cork like this for fermenting in plastic Five Gallon Carboy's (using the hole in the plastic top it came with) and fermenting overflow's in 750ml bottles but it seemed to always sink in too much so I measured the top and went with this #3 Silicone Stopper - and sure enough, it works SO MUCH BETTER! It also stays in tighter so no need for worries - Cheers!

WIDGETCO has good stoppers
I was asked to review a recent purchase of a #3 White Silicone Rubber Stopper. Based upon my experience with stoppers, this was the best one I've procured to date. It was as described in the WIDGETCO specification and fit my application perfectly. While I have not confirmed precise material properties of the silicone, I can say based upon experience that the temperature range meets and may exceed the needs of most cooking processes e.g. 400 degrees F. I certainly will consider WIDGETCO for any future stopper needs.

I was very satisifed with the quick delivery of this order. I bought the product to plug a drain in my swimming pool. I hope the silicone material these stoppers are made of are compatible with a salt water pool, but if not that is not the fault of WIDGETCO.

Perfect for my need
I bought a #3 and #4 size into which I wanted to install a 1/2" OD stainless steel dip tube for my beer brewing kettle, which has a welded outlet. I made a slightly smaller than 1/2" hole with a cork hole borer. The cut was clean and the dip tub fit perfectly in each. The two stoppers both fit into the hole in my kettle, just with differing depths of insertion. The seal is good and should work well to hold the dip tube rotated into the correct position.
