Exactly What I Expected The thread protectors were the exactly what I needed for my project. The price for the thread protectors was excellent and the shipping was reasonable and very fast. Ordering the thread protectors from the website was easy and efficient. Excellent Product!

Horrible quality and consistency! I had samples of what I needed from a local hardware store to verify size and quality. However when I ordered through WIDGETCO what I received was very different and inferior. All of the thread protectors varied in length. Some were over an inch some were under an inch. There was no consistent length. There was also no consistent wall thickness or pliability. I had to cut them all down by hand with a knife. The diameter was considerably smaller than the samples I bought locally. I thought 5/16 would be the same as 5/16, but I guess not. I am a bartender and I bought these to cover the tops of pour spouts to keep fruit flies out of the bottles. Just placing them.on top of the pour spouts and many of them split in half. They said they will stretch. I don't need them to stretch, I just need them to sit there. And just sitting there they would split. I contacted Widgetco to see if the quality and consistency were typical and whether I would get a better product if I placed another order and I never heard back from them.

Good product Exactly as advertised, relatively inexpensive, and arrived incredibly fast.

Good customer service When I received my order it was short by 20 pieces (and one was defective). The company sent out the remainder immediately. The item description says "designed to stretch". Probably true, but not every piece has a uniform wall thickness. (This is very evident by squeezing the sides.) As a result, I noticed that a few pieces "split" after application. All in all, the product performed satisfactorily.

The best This is what I have been looking for and they sent it out quickly...I will be back.

Just What I Needed I actually needed something to give a "finished" look to a project I was working on and these fit the bill perfectly. They stretched just as advertised, which I needed because what I put them on varied slightly in diameter from one to another. They even included an extra which came in handy when I accidentally ruined one. Super fast delivery.
