I was amazed to find these plugs far away in Texas and tracked them all the way with USPS. Imagine, all the oak trees in North America and one has to go to Texas to find them
I've only tried a couple of them so far and they seem perfect. I'll soon be installing them all.

7/16" Oak wood plugs
The wood plug fit and went in more easily than I expected. I used a regular hammer and tapped one in being careful not to pound too hard. I bought 10 and tried all of them to see which ones fit best. More than half seemed to fit well and slightly better than the other group. All were okay.
