I ordered a bunch and was able to find tiny corks of different sizes to fill the bottom holes in an antique salt and pepper shaker as well as this large cork to fill the seed feeder hole in an outdoor bird feeder. Ordered a no. 24 and a no. 26 cork stopper to see which size would best fit my needs. I have a 1940s vintage laundry tub (concrete with a copper washboard) that has an odd sized drain. The no. 24 was the best fit, but the cork itself has a good many voids in it and may not provide a great seal since only the lower portion actually contacts the drain opening. I think I will order a premium grade cork to see if it is more solid.
